Little Johnnie's are our answer to the hot dog. They are shaped like one, but that is where it ends. These are made from our own Fullblood Wagyu, stuffed into links, and they eat like a good fresh sausage rather than an emulsified hot dog.
These are the fresh version: made with fresh ingredients, not smoked and not precooked, so they need cooking. Grill over medium heat turning until browned, or brown them in a skillet. Cook to an internal temperature of 160°F, the USDA safe minimum for any ground meat.
About 1 lb per pack, 4 to 6 links.
Storage: keep frozen. Once thawed in the refrigerator, cook fresh sausage within 1 to 2 days (USDA cold storage guidance).
